Rates and Payment Information

At Mondzorgcentrum Kroonprins, our rates adhere to the established standards in the Netherlands. For detailed rates, please refer to our Dental Rates (Dutch) document. Often, rates are combined for procedures. For instance, we do not perform molar extractions without first conducting an X-ray to clearly visualize the roots. Before any treatment, a diagnosis is always made.

Please note that the mentioned rates do not include dental technique costs. If technical costs are involved, they will be indicated with an asterisk (*). We can readily obtain the costs from the dental laboratory upon your request. If you have any inquiries about this, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Children up to 18 years

Chrildren up to the age of 18 is generally reimbursed by your health insurance. However, since 2022, some insurers have introduced restrictions on the reimbursement of a number of treatments. For example; Dental cleaning (M03) and Information and/or Instruction (M01). You can check with your health insurer what the reimbursement is and what has already been declared by a healthcare provider.

Declarations by Email

We send declarations via a secure email system called Zorgmail. To ensure security, a verification code will be sent to your 06 number or email address. Please ensure we have your accurate contact information. For payment, use our bank account number: NL 35 RABO 0370 8696 13.

Insurance

Dental insurance packages vary widely. You can find comprehensive information to aid your selection on the Dental Insurance Compare (Dutch). We directly submit your treatment to all health insurers. Depending on your chosen dental insurance coverage, certain parts of the treatment may not be reimbursed, and you'll receive an invoice from us.

Missed Appointment Costs

Missed appointments incur costs under the code C90. Unfortunately, health insurers do not cover these costs. The amount depends on the planned treatment. Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Should you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment, we'll endeavor to fill the reserved time. If successful, we'll only charge for the unfilled portion.

Material and Technique Costs

Together, we'll determine the most suitable treatment and dental work based on your preferences. Before proceeding with the treatment, a budget can be established to align with your needs.

Material selection table

The table below gives an indication. There may be differences per situation. For example, not all materials are suitable for certain workpieces. For example, a facing / shield can only be made from specific ceramic materials. The term monolithic means that the material is made in one piece. This provides more strength, but is often cosmetically less attractive than a workpiece that, like a tooth, is made up of different layers with different colors.
